We have been established 2004 in Islıngton London Desperados is the home of authentic Mexican food in Islington.

We are the best in North London. We serve delicious, slow-cooked Mexican street food. Our menu is available to take away, or you can relax and enjoy the full Desperados experience in our famous restaurant. Our mouth-watering menu includes fresh tacos, burritos and quesadillas, with fillings like pulled pork, homemade Mexican chorizo, chilli prawns, spiced roasted squash and many more. We felt that Islington`s brilliant food scene was missing one thing: truly authentic Mexican food. Our genuine passion for Mexican cuisine is what makes Desperados unique, and we still continually research and experiment to make sure we’re fore runner of the Mexican food revolution in London. We also visit Mexico on food-finding missions, choosing the most exciting recipes to inspire our menus back in London. We’ve researched Mexican cooking methods, roamed the markets, cooked with local people in their homes and yes, stuffed our faces.
